About Despina

I’m Despina, an Interior Architecture designer based in Madrid, with a background in Finance and Project Management.

With Greek and Belgian roots, and fluency in 4 languages - Greek, French, English, Spanish - I bring an international perspective to my work and creative approach. My journey into interior design has been shaped by a combination of analytical thinking, international experience and a lifelong interest in the way spaces are designed.

After studying Business Management and Corporate Finance in the UK, I spent over 5 years, working as a Project Manager across Spain and Greece, with experience spanning finance, technology, aerospace and transportation.

Alongside my career, I decided to pursue a field that had always fascinated me: Interior Architecture and Design. I am currently completing my Master’s in Architecture of Interiors at Insenia Design School in Madrid, Spain. I’ve explored residential, hospitality, restaurant, exhibition and furniture design — developing my skills across concept, spatial planning, materials, lighting, 3D modelling, visualisation and budgeting.

I believe the most interesting spaces are those where a strong concept meets functionality and a genuine understanding of the people who will experience them. My goal is to create spaces that feel thoughtful, personal and inspiring. As I complete my Master’s and develop my portfolio, I’m looking forward to taking my first professional steps into the interior architecture and design industry. I’m eager to join a creative studio where I can continue learning, contribute my existing professional experience and bring together my two worlds: the strategic thinking of Project Management with the creativity of Interior Architecture.

Welcome to my portfolio.
